The doors of AFS-Egypt re-open to Americans! The
last time the year-long program to Egypt was offered
to American AFS students was in 1996!

and the second-most populous on the African
Continent. Today, the “cradle of civilization,” as

incorporating modern Islam and Christianity, Middle
Eastern art and folk cultures, and Western music and
films into its two millennia-long history.
AFS offers a summer or year abroad in Egypt.
