My AFS Experience
AFSer to Switzerland, Nikki Keown shares
her thoughts just before
arriving:
"Everything
evolved as I arose from my
undefined sleep state, dreaming only what
dreams will put forth in composed situations.
Naturally, I gazed out the window from the
center row of the airplane, an uncomfortable
fit, in question of vicinity. A bittersweet
wake up call: sunrise, casting a beautiful
array of colors over the English Channel.
Throughout my prior dreams, they spoke to me
