The International Living Room: Vol. II, issue 10

Why do families decide to welcome an AFS Exchange Student into their home and lives? The reasons are as many and varied as the families who host! "It definitely helped us get a broader perspective of the way people live their lives," said one host dad, "but we really felt that language and cultural differences aside, we are all the same at heart. We feel like we now have extended family in Argentina!"

Hosting is about sharing every day life with a young person from another country. If you're like many other families, hosting may be one of the best experiences you'll ever have. Student applications are arriving daily and we are matching students with families.
