This is a Welcome Picnic for the incoming D.C., Prince George’s, and Anne Arundel students. It will be a pot luck, with drinks and hot dogs provided by AFS.

This is your chance to welcome our incoming students and have a great time too! They’ll all be eager to talk to some Americans and make new friends.

Bring something to share (it doesn’t have to be anything fancy—a salad, a bag of chips and dip, or some cookies is fine). If you have a friend who’d like to meet our AFS Students, they are welcome too. Make sure to bring your bathing suits! It is an olympic size pool with water basketball hoops, a large slide, and diving boards.

Directions: From D.C.: From North Capitol Street, take New Hampshire Avenue into Maryland. Go right on Metzerott Road, left on Riggs Road to 9442. Pool is on left (across from Buck Lodge Road).
