1. Start school at the same time as your new classmates. Many Spanish speaking programs begin their school year in January.

3. Enjoy summer twice! Head south to experience Latin America for a semester during their summer. Then, come home to summer vacation in the U.S.
4. There’s still time to fundraise for your AFS tuition. Join an AFS Fundraising Workshop or visit the AFS Fundraising Wiki.

6. Many schools in the U.S. give course credit for study abroad programs with AFS. Set up an appointment now with your school counselor.
7. Play soccer year-round. Perfect your soccer skills in Latin America and return to the States a season ahead of your team mates.
