1/8/2008 - 6th Annual CSIET Advisory List Cover Design Contest

CSIET is pleased to announce its 6th annual Advisory List Cover Design Contest. Secondary school exchange students inspired by their experiences are encouraged to submit artwork representing the spirit of youth exchange. Students participating in Fall 2007 semester, Spring 2008 semester, or Academic Year 2007-2008 programs may enter.

The dimensions of the book cover are 6 ¼ by 8 ½ inches. We welcome a variety of media, including graphic design. Graphic design entries should be submitted both as a hard copy and an electronic copy on disk, in their original file format.

CSIET cannot consider any entries with references to specific exchange organizations, sports, or high school graduation. Entries must arrive at the CSIET office on or before Wednesday, March 14, 2008. The winner will be notified in writing by May 16, 2008.

The entries will be judged by the Board of Directors. Please note that only students on exchange programs accepted for listing in the 2008-2009 Advisory List will be considered for the final prize. We will, of course, state the names of the artist and sponsoring organization in the book. In addition, the artist will receive a cash prize of $500.
