History of AFS in India
After nearly 20 years away, AFS is excited to be returning to India! Our first batch of forty students left in August and September 2005 for programs in Europe and the Americas. AFS ran various programs in India in the 1960s, ‘70s, and ‘80s. Today we are reconnecting with our alumni, past participants, host families, and friends—many of whom have gone on to prominent positions in the business, government, the arts, education and non-profit sectors.
