9/27/2007 - AFS Intercultural Programs Celebrates 60th Anniversary with Gala Event

New York NY – AFS-USA will host its 60th Anniversary Gala for AFS Intercultural Programs on November 1st, 2007 in celebration of six decades of intercultural high school educational exchange. The event will be held at the New York Sheraton Hotel and will include cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. The Gala, entitled Honor the Journey, will raise funds for annual support as well as honor those who have made a positive impact on AFS, including founding ambulance drivers, former students, and long-time friends.
